May-30-2021 is “World Multiple Sclerosis Care Day”, and nearly 2,000 patients in Taiwan are fighting against the disease. This year, the Taiwan Neuroimmunology Society recorded the illness stories of two foreign patients living in Taiwan and one Taiwanese patient, Wang Xin-Ting, a national volleyball player. Ming Jia and Tam, who come from two different countries, Brazil and the United States, are also foreigners who fell in love with Taiwan and settled here with their children. They were also diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in Taiwan; Taiwanese volleyball player Wang Xinting faced the disease with a positive attitude. With a positive outlook on life and this long-term war of fighting against Multiple Sclerosis, they became brave men who never gave up. They started their journey of fighting against diseases on this precious island of Taiwan and passed on the spirit of never giving up. They have a close connection with Taiwan’s medical care, Taiwan Neurology Society and Taiwan Neuroimmunology Medical Society.
